Bringing Help and Hope to Flood-Affected Families in Nepal
When floodwaters recede, the suffering does not simply disappear.
For families in Nepal, the struggle continues as they face damaged communities, lost homes, and the task of rebuilding their lives. Our missions trip brought us face to face with these hardships, and with opportunities to share the compassion and love of Jesus Christ.
Our team traveled from India and included three pastors, a nurse, and a ministry assistant. Together, we visited communities affected by flooding, offering practical assistance, prayer, and encouragement to people facing difficult circumstances.
As we walked through the villages, we met families who had lost their homes and belongings. Some were also grieving the loss of loved ones. Children were struggling without adequate food, milk, clothing, and other basic necessities. Behind every need was a person, a family, and a story that deserved to be heard.
Through the generosity of those who support this ministry, we were able to distribute food supplies, clothing, blankets, and other essential items. We also shared Bibles and Gospel tracts, offering the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. We prayed with families who were discouraged and sought to remind them that they were not forgotten.
Some of the most meaningful moments came as we sat with children and families, listened to their stories, and prayed for healing, hope, and strength. These visits gave us opportunities to offer comfort and encouragement alongside the practical help we brought.
We also met local believers and church leaders who continue serving their communities despite many challenges. Their presence is a blessing to families navigating loss and uncertainty. Please remember these servants in prayer as they care for others while facing the hardships around them.
The trip has ended, but the need has not. Families are still rebuilding their lives. Children still need nourishing food, milk, and clothing. There are continuing opportunities to help provide food, shelter, Bibles, and spiritual encouragement.
Will you help us send more assistance to Nepal?
Your gift can help our ministry respond to these ongoing needs and extend Christ’s love through practical care. Whatever amount you are able to give, we invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us. Please contact our ministry to learn how to contribute toward continued relief efforts.
You can also help by sharing this newsletter with your church, friends, and family. Each person who learns about these needs is another potential partner in bringing help and hope.
To everyone who has already prayed, given, and supported this outreach: thank you. Your generosity has made a difference to people experiencing suffering and loss.
Please continue praying for the people of Nepal, the churches serving affected communities, and our ministry team. Pray for provision, strength, healing, and open doors to reach more families.

Together, we can continue caring for those whose road to recovery is unfinished. Let us keep responding with compassion, generosity, and faith.
“When we serve those in need, we become the hands and feet of Jesus.”
